We flew to and from Johannesburg and spent 3 weeks travelling in a hire car. First we drove to Cape Town, via the Big Hole in Kimberley. After visiting table mountain, the cape and Stellenbosch winery, we headed up the east coast, along the Garden Route, to Durban, via East London and Port Elizabeth. After wandering around Durban, we headed to the Kruger National Park, and drove back to Johannesburg via the Drackensberg Mountains and Blyde River Canyon.
